It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Ashleigh, and I love helping people discover what their home can become. I bring curiosity, a clear point of view, and close attention to the way you live to every project. The result should feel beautiful, considered, and entirely yours.
I believe the most beautiful homes are deeply personal. They make room for the people who live in them, the art and objects they love, and the rhythms of everyday life.
I founded Ashleigh Underwood Design to create homes with that sense of individuality. My work brings together thoughtful planning, expressive color, carefully chosen furnishings, and a mix of contemporary and vintage pieces. I’m drawn to the details that give a room its character, while always considering how the home works as a whole and for the people who inhabit it.
I work closely with clients through renovations and whole-home furnishing projects, helping them make confident decisions amid the many choices involved. I listen carefully, offer a clear point of view, and bring the design together from its earliest ideas through the final layers of art and styling.
My background in the humanities as well as my BA in International Relations and my studies in interior architecture at UCLA inform the way I see spaces and the people who inhabit them. I began my career working with designers Mark Cutler and Amy DeVault before establishing my own Los Angeles practice.
